I don't get the logic behind your listings. (1) The site continues to show opportunities long after the deadline has passed. (2) The site does not list in order of posting. Surely playwrights looking for opportunities want to have this information. (3) Even this forum puzzles me. Having written the above, how do I post? By clicking on "add topic"?
I agree with #3 as I can't see how to start a new post so, sorry, I replying to this one about a list from Atmoshere Press that says it is accepting play scripts. When you select them from the list there is a simple form to complete and a place to upload your script. Although I am new to the subscription, I have sent out scripts to 20 organizations so far and I was puzzled by the lack of requirements. So I opened another window and Googled them. Sure they will "accept" scripts and "if you are selected they will contact you in 2 weeks." What they fail to mention is that they offer 3 publishing packages that range from $7,000 to $30,000. I'm not using this subscription to find companies to pay to publish my scripts and Atmosphere and others like it should be removed from this list.
